MJW Transportation & Logistics is a transportation and logistics company, and we are committed to attaining the most optimal solutions for our customers.  Based in Oakville, Ontario, our team caters to the needs of manufacturers and businesses throughout the North America.  We have an opening for one full-time and permanent position of the Customer Service Managing Supervisor.
 
Job Duties:
  • Plan, direct and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the company’s customer service management.
  • Maintain lasting relationships with customers, determines customer service requirements by maintaining contact with customers and conducting surveys.
  • Maintain the logistics and transportation service status by coordinating with other departments and carriers to ensure safe, reliable, and timely shipment of products to customers.
  • Maintain accurate manual and computer records of customer shipments.
  • Evaluate customers’ complaints, respond to their requests and issues, and ensure that they are dealt with satisfactorily, reporting service failures to source and making recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Improve customer service quality by studying and evaluating market research and trends, determine customer demand and satisfaction and effect of competitors’ services.
  • Train and manage staff and assign job duties.
  • Implement the company’s marketing strategies to achieve the sales goals and improve the customer satisfaction.
Wage:
  • $42 per hour
 
Work Hours:
  • 30 hours per week
  • 52 weeks per year

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
  • Education: minimum a university degree or college diploma in business management or related field is required.
  • Experience: minimum 3 years of work experience in customer service management or related role is required.
  • Language requirement: English
 
Skills Requirements:
  • Good computer skills e.g. MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to impact and influence change
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
