Job Description:
We are currently seeking casual Banquet Server's for our clients in the Halifax, NS area.
THE ROLE
- Setting meal and meeting rooms. Proper table setting will be discussed during the training.
- Serving meals and beverages. Delivering coffee, snacks or meals to meeting rooms.
- Trays are carried on your shoulder, weighing approximately 30 pounds. There are 10 plates per tray.
- Maintaining a friendly, positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Dismantling of meeting rooms/resetting of tables, chairs and dishes for next function.
- Other duties may include, general clean up and tiding of catering area. Putting away linen, maintaining catering storage area, preparing equipment or polishing cutlery.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Customer service oriented
- Able to lift over 30 lbs;
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
WHAT IS OFFERED
Weekly pay.
Casual shifts available/on call.
Day shifts and evening shifts.
$16 + vacation pay per hour
